Kirkland Misquoted
Build it Right Chair says CBC took her comments out of context
Susan Kirkland, Chair of the Build it Right citizen action group, says she was mis-quoted in a January 3 article published on CBC.ca.
CBC quoted Kirkland as saying: "It just seems to me that we would be far better off investing our money in a new pool in the Mainland Common and shutting down the Centennial as soon as possible."
After seeing the article Kirkland said she did not intentionally set up the Mainland Common project against Centennial Pool, but it she could see how CBC might have taken her comments and made it seem that way.
