If there were only 5,000 homes in HRM West taxed at this rate they would contribute $2,016,150/ year for recreation and libraries.

Great that we have, as we should, contributed to many other HRM communities and that our library was a philanthropic donation, but our recreation infrastructure is old, disintegrating and failing to meet the needs of youth, adults, seniors in fitness and rehabilitation in our fast growth highly taxed HRM West.
